Working Together

We believe in working together in partnership to support your child’s learning journey.

We recognise that parents are their child’s first educators and as such children have already learned a huge variety of skills at home which we then further build and scaffold upon within the social environment here at preschool.  Open communications between staff and the child’s parents/carers are crucial to help to enhance a child’s education.

We believe that we should work together to help to promote your child’s self-confidence and self-reliance and help them to reach their full potential.

Each child has a keyperson who will liaise with parents/carers sharing achievements and interests.

To help understand the curriculum we follow there is a parents guide:

In addition, this is an interesting article to support development at home.

We are a community pre-school and have social events through the year so we can get to know each other and raise funds for the children’s resources. Once your child has settled in at Pre School you might like to stay and help for a session (or more!) to see what we do.  We are always happy for families to share their interests and hobbies. Please speak to us for further information about how you can become more involved.
